Hello Fellow Master Therapists and Master Therapist in Training!

I am Eric Rodgers a licensed associate professional counselor and professional coach. I work with individuals going through personal, career, and workplace transitions. Lately, I have focused on men’s issues in relationships, social interactions, and career development. It is a pleasure to be part of Dr. Arcella’s team! I look forward to working with recent graduates entering the field and serving as a mentor through the essential developmental years of practice. In addition, I hope to provide insight from a therapist in training perspective to professional therapist seeking to provide clinical supervision services.

Interesting fact: I am the only associate professional counselor in the state of GA approved to train fully licensed professionals in supervision ethics and skills by the Licensed Professional Counseling Association.

Currently, I’m earning a doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Prior to, I completed a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Graduate Diploma in Coaching Psychology, and a BS in Psychology with an emphasis in coaching. I have presented at multiple professional conferences on topics such as pseudoscientific approaches to mental health, ethics, GA licensure and Board rules, and clinical supervision. I have served as a licensure consultant and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor credential program manager. As a member of the Licensed Professional Counseling Association, I have served as the student representative, public relations representative, and newsletter editor.

My clinical experience includes working in private practice settings, assessment and referral counselor, outpatient therapist, lead therapist, and interim clinical director.

There are three musts that hold us back: I must do well. You must treat me well. And the world must be easy.” Albert Ellis
